The Moroccan Harsha

The ingredients:

  1. Two cups of semolina.
  2. A glass of water.
  3. Half a cup of corn oil.
  4. Half a teaspoon of baking powder.
  5. Teaspoon of sugar.
  6. Half a teaspoon of salt.



How to prepare:


  • Bring a bowl and add semolina, salt, baking powder, oil, and mix, then add the sugar and salt. Then add the water, and knead the mixture well, until we get a firm dough.
  • We spread the dough on a smooth surface and cut it into circles, and we can cut it by placing an empty cup over the dough in a circular, easy and fast way.
  • We put the oil pan on the gas fire, and when heated we add the circles inside the oil. After ripening, raise it from the oil and serve it, and it can be eaten hot or cold.
